Allison Stokke

 Stokke was the daughter of Allan Stokke and Cindy Stokke in Newport Beach. She started gymnastics at the age of 13 and soon became the top vaulter in the USA. With a record of 3.81Allison Rebecca Stokke Fowler, she took home the 2004 age group 15/16 United States title [1] She broke a number of American pole vaulting high school records. The images she posted at 17 years old young were shared widely on the internet and made her an internet phenomenon. Stokke continued to compete in pole vaulting while at the University of California at Berkeley and competing with the California Golden Bears collegiate track club. She participated in two NCAA Division I Championships. She received All-American distinction at the NCAA Indoor Championships 2011. The combination of her athletic and academic achievements earned her all-regional academic honors. She attempted to make it onto the American Olympic Team at the 2012 United States Olympic Trials, however, she was not able to reach the required height. She competed in national level events until the year 2017. She was a professional vaulter following her college years and was a sports model for Nike, Athleta and others.
