Stoner was the co-host of Disney Channel Mike's Super Short Show in 2001 alongside Michael Alan Johnson. This informational show focuses on upcoming Disney releases. She starred in the comedy Cheaper by the Dozen (2003 and 2005) in the role of Sarah who was one of the 12 Baker children. She also appeared on several television shows aimed at the preteen audience, including The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, That's So Raven and Drake & Josh. She was the younger foster sister of Channing Tatum's character Camille Tatum in Step Up (2006). She provided the voice of Isabella Garcia-Shapiro and Jenny (until Season 4) in the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb from 2007 to 2015. She was the voice of Caitlyn Gellar in Camp Rock, a Disney Channel Original film. A number of media outlets have were impressed with her performance in Camp Rock, stating that it was time to give her an important role. She had before backed big names like Will Smith and Eminem. Stoner starred as Alice McKinley in the movie Alice Upside Down, based loosely on the Alice series, and particularly The Agony of Alice by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. Stoner played her second role as a star. In an interview on the direct-to DVD release, Stoner claimed that it was the first time she was in every scene of a movie. In 2008, she sang two songs "Lost and Found" and "Free Spirit" in the soundtrack to the film Alice Upside Down, in which she was the lead part. She has also recorded a cover version of the song Dancing in the Moonlight for the 2009 Disney DVD/Blu-ray movie, Space Buddies. [4] Stoner starred in Step Up 3D, the third Step Up film. She was in the same role as Adam Sevani. Stoner posted a video of her last dance class on her YouTube channel, which featured others cast members. In the same year, Stoner returned to reprise her role as Caitlyn Gellar in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, the sequel to Camp Rock. Stoner was also a guest on House, a television drama that focused on ice skating.
