Amanda Abbington

 She appeared in the TV series The Bill until 2007 playing different characters. She was also on the TV series Wycliffe and Casualty. She was a comedian sketch actor on Man Stroke Woman in 2005 and After You've Gone (2007-2008) alongside Nicholas Lyndhurst. She has also appeared in regular series like Bernard's Watch and Case Histories. In 2013, she made her debut in the show Mr Selfridge as Miss Mardle with Jeremy Piven and Frances O'Connor. Abbington was the wife of John Watson's spouse, Mary Morstan. She was played by Martin Freeman, her real-life partner. Cuffs is a BBC TV crime drama, was her debut appearance. Abbington was on stage in August 2018 as Annette in God of Carnage, Bath. She also appeared in Anne's character in Florian Zeller's production The Son, Kilburn, London[6The Son, Kilburn, London[6. Later that year, she moved to the Duke of York's Theatre in London's West End. 2022: Abbington will be appearing in The Unfriend, a new play in the Minerva Theatre.
