Alison Sudol (born December 23 1984) is an American actor, singer as well as songwriter and music video director. Her most well-known roles include A Fine Frenzy singer and Queenie Goldstein, from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and its sequels The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) and The Secrets of Dumbledore (2222). Her songs have been featured in numerous television series and movies.Sudol was born in Seattle, Washington to dramatic arts teacher Sondra (Fraser) West-Moore and acting coach John Sudol. She and both parents relocated to Los Angeles after their divorce, when she was five. She grew up with various genres of music that included Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald and other swing artists. She credits Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Simon and Garfunkel as some of her greatest music influencers. When she was 16 years old, she graduated high school. She described herself as "nerdy" and "quiet" She did not smoke, drink or engage in any other similar activities. Interviewer: "I was super nervous about going to college in that way. I figured I would take two years and try to find out what I was up to in the world of music. When I turned 18, it was so intense that I could not stop.
