  Graham started modeling at age 12. Graham began modeling at the age of 12. In her beginning career, she was featured in YM magazine. In April 2007 she was profiled by Sally Singer of Vogue magazine. She appeared on the cover of the October 2009 issue of Glamour editorial "These Bodies are Beautiful at every size," along with plus-size models like Kate Dillon Levin, Amy Lemons, Lizzie Miller, Crystal Renn, Jennie Runk and Anansa Sims. In the year 2010, Graham was in an unpopular Lane Bryant TV commercial. The commercial was viewed over 800,000 viewers. It was also covered by news media outlets such as The Huffington Post, and The New York Post. In May the year 2010, she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, to address the controversy. Her international fashions comprise Prabal Gurung and Michael Kors. She also walked for H&M, Tommy Hilfiger and Rag and Bone. [18][1919 Graham has appeared in numerous Marina Rinaldi advertisements, including the Spring/Summer 2012 , Fall/Winter 2012 denim and sport campaigns. Additional clients include Addition Elle and Bloomingdale's. In December 2012, Graham was featured on two billboards in New York for Lane Bryant. [6] At the end of 2012, Graham was named the Full Figured Fashion Week's Model of the Year.In 2013, Graham designed a lingerie line for Addition Elle, a Canadian plus-sized clothing retailer. Additionally, she was a coach for models who were aspirants in MTV's Made. 6. Graham also published a book in 2017, A New Model: How Confidence and Beauty Actually Looks. She discusses her views about the future of body image and gives insight into her experience as model. In the year 2000, Graham was also the focus of a nine-episode series on the Go90 digital network, dubbed The Ashley Graham Project.
