Ashley Tyler Ciminella, April 19, 1968; Ashley Judd) is an American actress from the United States. Her family was a household of actors: her parents were country music legends, including Naomi Juddd's daughter as well as Wynonna Juddd's half-sister. The acting career of Judd spans over 30 years. Judd has been active in political and humanitarian activism , as well as global human rights efforts for more than three years. Judd has appeared in films that have been well-received and had box office success like Ruby in Paradise (1993), Heat (95), Smoke (95), Norma Jean & Marilyn (1996), Double Jeopardy (1997), Where the Heart Is (2000) and Twisted (2004). In 2012, she was a part-time actress in Missing as Rebecca Winstone. She was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her performance in this role.
