Audrey Hepburn

 Audrey Hepburn, born Audrey Kathleen Ruston on 4 May 1929, passed away on January 20, 1993. She was an actress and humanitarian from Britain. She is both an icon of fashion and film. The American Film Institute ranked her as the third-highest female screen legend from Classical Hollywood cinema. Inducted into the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame. Hepburn was born in Ixelles in Brussels to an wealthy couple. She studied ballet in the company of Sonia Gaskell in Amsterdam beginning in 1945. She then studied together with Marie Rambert in London from 1948. She started performing as a chorus girl in West End musical theatre productions and was later seen in minor roles in several films. She became famous in the romantic comedy Roman Holiday (1953) alongside Gregory Peck, for which she was the first actress to win an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award, and a BAFTA Award for a single performance. She won the Tony Award for Best Lead Actress In a Play that year for Ondine. She was a part of Wait Until Dark, a thriller that won her Academy Award, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations. She appeared in only one film alongside Sean Connery, Robin and Marian (1976). She was last seen in the documentary TV series in the year 1990 Gardens of the World, that was co-produced by Audrey Hepburn. For this she received a Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Individual Achievement in the field of Informational Programming.
