Chris Evans (actor)

 Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13th 1981) is an American actor from the United States. His career began in 2000 when he appeared on the television's Opposite Sex. After appearances in a variety of teens' films which included 2001's Not Another Teen Movie, he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans also appeared in films adaptations of comic books and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010). Evans was recognized for his performance as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Avengers: Endgame (2018). His work in the franchise established him as one of the top-paid actors.Aside from comic book roles, Evans has starred in the drama Gifted (2017) and the film that reveals the identity of Knives Out (2019), and the mini-series for television Defending Jacob (2020). In 2014, he directed the romantic drama Before We Go. He also produced the show and played a role in it. Evans' Broadway debut was in the revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s show Lobby Hero. He received a Drama League Award nomination.
