Donna Douglas

 Douglas relocated from the Midwest to New York City in order to make a name for herself as a showbiz actor. She began her career as an illustration model for toothpaste advertisements. She was also the "Letters Girl" on the NBC show The Perry Como Show, in the year 1957, and then the "Billboard Girl," on NBC's The Steve Allen Show (NBC) in 1959. These and other appearances on TV resulted in New York photographers and journalists to give her the "Miss Byline" crown. She was presented in the role of "Letters Girl" on The Perry Como Show on NBC in the year 1957, and as the "Billboard Girl" on The Steve Allen Show on NBC in 1959. Then she was given an unimportant role in the musical comedy Li'l Abner (1959), as well as the secretary role in the romantic comedy Lover Come back (1961) which starred Rock Hudson, Doris Day as well as a variety of other TV appearances throughout the 1950s and 1960s. [8] In the four episodes of CBS' detective show Checkmate, she played the role of Barbara Simmons. U.S. Tightrope as well as Marshal, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet and Bachelor Father, Adam-12 and Route 66 are among her other credits. Douglas was also featured in Thriller season 1 episode 16 "The Hungry Glass".
