Nayvadius DeMun Cash[8] (born Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn; born November 20, 1983) known as the stage name Future, is an American singer, rapper and music producer. He is known for his mumble-styled voice and his prolific output, Future is considered a pioneer of the use of melody and auto-tune in contemporary trap music. Because of the continued popularization of his style, he is commonly regarded as one the most influential rappers of the current generation. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Future signed a recording contract with A1 Recordings and Epic Records in 2011and then released two albums, Pluto (2012) and Honest (2014) and Honest (2014), which included the platinum singles "Turn on the Lights", "Honest", "Move That Dope" (featuring Pharrell Williams and Pusha T), and "I Won" (featuring Kanye West). The album DS2 (2015) with the singles "Fuck up Some Commas" (featuring Drake) and "Where Ya At", was followed by Evol (2016) with its leading single "Low Life", (featuring The Weeknd). Future's fifth album, Hndrxx (both 2017, Future) was his first album to be released in consecutive weeks on the US Billboard 200. The first album featured Drake's international hit songs "Used to", "Used to" and "Where You at". Future then released Evol (2016) and the single that was released as his lead track "Low Life" (featuring The Weeknd). Future also released The Wizrd (2019), and High Off Life (2020), both featuring the RIAA-certified Diamond single "Life Is Good" (featuring Drake). After a record-breaking of 125 submissions, Future's debut number one single made it to the Hot 100. He also was a part of Young Thug in Drake's "Way 2 Sexy" album. The album that Future released in his ninth year, "I Never Liked You" (2022) was the result of his second number one hit, "Wait For U" and was the highest-charting single he had as a singer-songwriter.
