Minka Kelly

 Kelly returned to Los Angeles after she graduated from Valley High School, Albuquerque. Kelly was on an audition with an agency for modeling when she was asked to handle her by an old Playboy Playmate. Kelly was able to get the position of a receptionist at the clinic of a surgeon and was offered the procedure for breast augmentation at a cost. Kelly was unable to undergo the procedure and was dismissed. Kelly was introduced to the medical profession and she decided to go back to school to learn how to become an assistant surgeon. Then she worked as a scrub tech. Kelly continued to apply for roles on TV and in film throughout the course of her four years working in this field. In 2003, she began her acting career with The Turbo Charged Prelude for 2 Fast 2 Furious. The short film is an introduction of six minutes for the action movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. The film was then followed by a special appearance on Cracking Up. Since then, she's been featured on various TV shows which include Entourage, Drake & Josh, American Dreams, and American Dreams. Kelly was given a three-episode role as a recurring character in The WB comedy series What I Like About You in 2005. In April of 2006, Kelly was commissioned as an episode regular on the NBC drama series Friday Night Lights. The show was inspired by the film about high school football with the same name. The show is based on the fictional story of a high school football team that hails from Dillon. Kelly was Lyla Garrity who was an high school cheerleader and student. Kelly was a member of the Pflugerville High School cheerleading team to prepare for her role. The show debuted on the 3rd of October, the 3rd of October, 2006. Kelly was praised by The New York Times for her performance, describing it as "heartbreaking". Kelly quit the show after the third season. The character she played had left to attend college. Kelly starred as Tammy Boyles in The Pumpkin Karver, a horror slasher film. Kelly also played a minor role in State's Evidence. Kelly reunited with Friday Night Lights creator Peter Berg and appeared in a cameo role as Ms. Ross in The Kingdom with Jamie Foxxes and Jennifer Garner in 2007. Also, she appeared in the film 500 Days of Summer's closing scene, playing Autumn which could be a new romantic potential for Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Kelly was cast in August 2008 as the main character of the CW's pilot show Body Politic. Kelly was Francesca Foster who is an 18-year-old woman who arrives in Washington, D.C., to become the Senate. She also makes friends with several promising actors. The show was not picked up by The CW despite critical praise. Kelly was also a participant in the pilot of CBS the short-lived comedy series Mad Love. She played the character as Kate in Midwestern girl Henry, and the two fall in love in the Empire State Building. Kelly was replaced by Sarah Chalke when the series was renewed. 13 years ago, Kelly was an actor on Parenthood which is an NBC drama. Kelly played the role as Max's behavioral aid. Kelly was featured in nine more episodes prior to her final appearance on "Taking the Leap" that aired on March 29, 2011. Kelly was also named "Sexiest women alive" by Esquire magazine the same year. 5 Kelly was offered a role in Love, Loss and What I Wore which was an Off Broadway play, which was staged from April 27 to 29, 2011. The cast included Conchata Ferrell, Anne Meara, AnnaLynne McCord, and B. Smith. In December of 2010, ABC announced that Kelly was selected to play the character in the reboot of crime-drama Charlie's Angels. The character was Eve French, a street racer. The pilot premiered in March of 2011 The series was launched on May 13, 2011. Charlie's Angels aired to more than 8.76 million viewers on September 22nd, 2011. The show received mostly negative critiques from critics. The show was eventually cancelled by ABC despite the fact that it was scheduled to run 13 episodes. The reason for this was the low ratings. The show was cancelled on the 10th of November the 10th of November.
