Paul Stephen Rudd (born April 6, 1969) is an American actor from the United States. Prior to beginning his acting career in the year 1991, he was a student of acting at the University of Kansas as well as the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He received an award on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in July 2015. The star was named as one of Forbes Celebrity 100 for 2019. In 2021, the magazine People named him their "Sexiest Man Alive".His movies include Clueless (1995), Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995), Romeo + Juliet (1996), Wet Hot American Summer (2001), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), Knocked Up (2007), This Is 40 (2012) and Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021). He is currently Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His debut appearance was Ant-Man (2015). The latest appearance was in Avengers: Endgame (2019). Rudd also played John in Nerdland (2016). Rudd also has guest roles on Tim and Eric Fantastic, Great Job!, Reno 911! He's hosted Saturday Night Live numerous times and has appeared in Parks and Recreation. He starred in a dual role on the Netflix comedy series Living with Yourself, which earned him a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor - Television Series Musical or Comedy. He was also a star in The Shrink Next Door (2021).
