 Peyton Williams Manning, born on March 24, 1976 Manning is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). Manning was a participant during 18 seasons in the league. Manning was referred to as "The Sheriff"[1and played 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, as well as four seasons with the Denver Broncos. Manning is widely regarded as to be one of the best to be a quarterback. [3][4][5][6][7][8Manning is regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Manning is part of the Manning football family. Manning is the elder brother of Eli Manning, former NFL quarterback. [3][4][5][6][7][8Manning is a member of the Manning is part of the Manning football dynasty. Manning was the Colts first selection during the 1998 NFL Draft. He was their quarterback of choice from 1998 until the year 2010. The struggling Colts team was transformed by Manning, who helped them win eleven playoff runs and eight division championships. Manning also won three AFC Championship Games. Manning was also named the Super Bowl MVP. Manning was unable to play during the 2011 season because of neck surgery. Manning was removed by the Colts and signed by Denver. From 2012 until 2015, Manning served as the Broncos starting quarterback. He was instrumental in helping the team to win their division and reach two Super Bowls. Manning's Super Bowl 50 victory made Manning the first quarterback to win for multiple teams.
