Peyton Manning

 Peyton Williams Manning (born March 24 1976) is an American former football quarterback who was a part of the National Football League (NFL) for 18 seasons. He was known as "the Sheriff",he spent 14 seasons playing for the Indianapolis Colts and four with the Denver Broncos. Manning is considered to be one of the greatest ever quarterbacks. Manning is part of the Manning football family, second son of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning, and the older brother of the former NFL quarterback Eli Manning. He played college football at Tennessee where he was the winner of the Maxwell, Davey O'Brien, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Awards when he was a senior , which led to victory at the 1997 SEC Championship. The Colts chose Manning at the beginning of the 1998 NFL Draft. He was their quarterback of choice from 1998 through the year 2010. He helped transform the struggling Colts franchise into consistent playoff contenders, guiding them to 11 playoff seasons with eight division championships, three AFC Championship Games, two Super Bowl appearances, and one championship win in Super Bowl XLI, the first championship for the team in more than three decades and first since moving to Indianapolis. Manning was awarded the Super Bowl MVP in the victory. Manning was sidelined for the 2011 season due to neck surgery. Manning was then released by the Colts, and signed with Denver. Serving as the Broncos' quarterback of choice from 2012 until 2015, he helped them win their division every season and win two Super Bowls. Manning's football career came to an end with a win in Super Bowl 50, making Manning the first quarterback to win the Super Bowl for more than one franchise
