Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9 in 1985) is an American actor and singer. Her Broadway debut was in the 1998 musical High Society. She received a nomination from Tony for Best featured artist in musical. In 2003 she made her feature film debut with Camp the Musical, an musical comedy. In 2008, she starred as a supporting part in The Twilight Saga. The comedy-drama film Up in the Air (2009) was nominated for the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress. She also received recognition for her starring role in the Pitch Perfect series (201Kendrick has also appeared in the comedy Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and 50/50 (2011) as well as the crime drama End of Watch (2012) and the musical fantasy Into the Woods (2014) and the suspense films The Accountant (2016), A Simple Favor (2018). She has also performed on voice roles in the animated musicals Trolls (2016) and Trolls World Tour (2020). The actress was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Actress for her performance in Dummy the short-form television series. Scrappy Little Nobody was her memoir.
