Simu Liu

 Liu was born in Harbin (China) on 19 April 1989. Liu is the son of Zhenning Liu and Zheng Liu. The parents of Zheng and Zhenning were able to get into Beijing University, despite considerable opposition to pursue engineering. His father Zhenning was admitted to America to pursue his PhD and his mother was employed in Beijing. Liu was raised in Harbin by his grandparents up to the age of five. He described his childhood as pleasant and peaceful. Then, he immigrated to Canada with his parents. They could supplement their education with dishes-washing jobs. Liu was born in Harbin, China to his father Zhenning, who moved to America to pursue an advanced degree. His mother was employed in Beijing. Liu recalled being raised by his parents in Harbin, China, in circumstances that he described as "idyllic and joyful". 10. Liu was "hothoused" when it came to mathematics by his parents when he was the age of five. They also assigned homework which included studying algebra as well as biographies of scientists. He was a student at the University of Toronto Schools and later studied the business field at Ivey Business School. He was awarded an honours degree in the year 2011 after nine months of working as an accountant at Deloitte. After evaluating different possibilities for a career He decided to pursue stuntman and acting as a profession. When he lost his position as an accountant and deciding to pursue the world of acting, Liu felt distant from his family. But after speaking with his parents about the childhood memories he had and their feelings, they came to a consensus and became more close.
