Kay is a huge fan of professional wrestling since her childhood, started training with Mathew Pritchew as well as Bill Martel at Blue Collar Wrestling Alliance in Detroit, Michigan in July 2008. Six months after she made her debut against Shavonne Norrrell on the 28th of December. [2][66 Kay and Norrell were involved in a fight that continued throughout 2009, including the Falls Count Anywhere match at the Summer Standoff in August 2009. Kay later began competing against male wrestlers. The end of 2010 the BCWA National Championship was vacated and Kay took part in the event to determine the new champion. She made it to the semi-finals in which she fell to eventual champion Scotty Primo. Before the closure of BCWA in mid-2011, Kay regularly attempted to be the champion.
