Allyson Michelle Felix OLY, born on November 18, 1985 was an American retired track and field athlete. She was a competitor in the 100m, 200m as well as 400m. From 2003 until 2013, she was a 200-meter specialist. Then she moved up to 400 meters later in the seasons of her career. Felix at 200 meters is 2012's Olympic world champion. She also is three-time world champion (2005–2009) and two-time Olympic silver medalists (2004 and 2008) and the 2011 world bronze medallist. She is the 2015 world champion in the 400m race and the world silver medalist in 2011. and the 2016 Olympic silver medalist. World bronze medalist in 2017 and the 2020 Olympic bronze medalist. Felix has been a ten-time U.S. national champion over shorter distances (2004 and 2005. 2007 to 2012. 2015 and 2016). Felix was a key member of the United States women’s relay teams and also won six additional Olympic gold medals. This included four consecutive gold medals in 4x400 meters (2008-2012 2016 and 2020) and two medals at 4x100 meters (2012 2016, 2016 and 2016). With a time of 40.82 seconds in 2012, the U.S. Olympic women's 4 100 meters team in 2012 set the current women's 4 x 100 meters record in the world. Felix is the first female to earn seven Olympic gold medals in track and field, with six gold medals in relays for teams, and one for an individual event. [33 Felix is also the most accomplished female athlete in Olympic track and field time. She has collected 11 medals over five consecutive Olympic Games. Felix holds the distinction of being the most decorated female and male athlete in World Athletics Championships history.
