Allyson Michelle Felix OLY (born on the 18th of November 1985) is a retired American track and field athlete who was a competitor in the 100 meters 200 meters, 400 meters and 100 meters. From 2003 to 2013 she was a 200 meter specialist. Then she moved up to 400 meters in the later times of her career. Felix at 200 meters she is 2012's Olympic world champion. She also is three times world champion (2005–2009) and two-time Olympic silver medalists (2004 and 2008) and the world bronze gold medalist. At 400 meters, she's the world champion in 2015 and world silver medalist in 2011, 2016 Olympic silver medalist, world bronze medalist, and 2020 Olympic bronze medalist. Felix is a ten time U.S. national champion over shorter distances (2004, 2005. 2007-2012. 2015 and 2016). Felix was a pivotal member of the United States women’s relay teams and also won six additional Olympic gold medals. They won four consecutive medals at 4x400 meters (2008-2012 2016 and 2020) as well as two 4x100 meters (2012, 2016 and 2016). The 2012 women's U.S. Olympic 4 x 100 meters team set the current women's 4x 100 meters world record of 40.82 seconds. With six gold medals from team relays and one from an individual event, Felix became the first female track and field athlete to ever be awarded seven Olympic gold medals. Felix holds the record for the most decorated male and female athlete in World Athletics Championships history.
