Alyssa Miller

 Miller was born in Los Angeles, California, to her father Craig Miller. Miller has several siblings. [3] Her ancestry includes German, Austrian, English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh. Miller was born in Palmdale, Los Angeles County. Miller is well-known for her dark brown hair and her strong bone structure. Her appearance is thought to be an extremely European look. Paul Marciano, founder of Guess, stated that Alyssa was the most European-looking American girl he'd ever seen. She was instantly compared to Brooke Shields, Sophia Loren as well as Brooke Shields when she made her debut at Guess. Her father in 2003 submitted her photographs of her tests to an IMG Models Los Angeles office. She was an emerging model for the Marilyn NY agency by 2005. The model was part of an autumn campaign in 2005 for Stella McCartney at the age of 16. In February 2006, she had been included in all of the major editions of Vogue and even on the cover of a Vogue Italia supplement. Following cover appearances for the October 2006 German Vogue and the July 2010 Italian Elle (she also later appeared on the October 2012 cover),[1Miller became one of the new models of Guess clothing in the latter part of 2010. Miller also worked with Victoria's Secret. Miller also worked with Victoria's Secret, Chopard and Diesel. She signed with Elite Model Management in 2011. In 2011, she was able to make her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue debut as one of five rookies. She was also with Shannan Click, Kenza Fourati Izabel Guulart, and the fellow Guess model Kate Upton. According to a report in The Wall Street Journal she was previously thinking that if she ever appeared in Sports Illustrated it would be for soccer, because of her athletic background, she had imagined herself as a professional soccer player. Joanne Gair had her body painted and Stewart Shining took photos of her in New York City in the Swimsuit Issue 2011. The year 2013 marked the third time she was featured in the Swimsuit Issue. In both 2011 and 2013, Miller participated in the annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition of David Letterman's Top 10 on the Late Show with David Letterman during the same night that the Swimsuit Cover Model for the issue was announced.
