Alicia Silverstone

 Alicia Silverstone, born October 4, 1976 in Los Angeles was an American actor. Her first film appearance was in The Crush (1993). She was awarded the 1994 MTV Movie Award in Best Breakthrough Performance. At the age of 16, she became a teen star after performing in Aerosmith's music video track "Cryin'". In 1995, she appeared in the role of Cher Horowitz in Clueless (1995) which earned the multimillion-dollar contract with Columbia Pictures. She played Batgirl in Batman and Robin's huge-budget superhero film. Silverstone was nominated for an award called the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy. Silverstone continues to perform in films, television and stage. Silverstone is a vegan who has been a supporter of PETA initiatives and has published two cookbooks: The Kind Diet (2009 and The Kind Mama (2014).
