Anderson (footballer

 Anderson Luis de Abreu Oliveira is also known as Anderson (born 13 April 1988), is an ex- Brazilian professional footballer as well as assistant manager of Adana Demirspor. He played as a midfielder and is most well-known for his time at Manchester United between 2007 and 2015. His birthplace was Porto Alegre. He started his career at Gremio as a young player and later progressed to the top of the league. Gremio was elevated to the Brazilian Serie A after his victory over Nautico in the play-offs of 2005. Anderson was transferred to Porto in January of 2006. Anderson was crowned the Primeira Liga twice in Porto and also the Taca de Portugal, Supertaca Candido de Oliveira and the Taca de Portugal during the 2005-06 season. After spending 18 months in Portugal the team relocated to England, and was signed by Manchester United. He won the Premier League title four more times at Manchester United. Following the departure of Alex Ferguson in 2013, he fell not a favorite with Manchester United and spent the third quarter of the 2013-14 season with Fiorentina. Then he returned to Brazil in January of 2015 to join Internacional. In 2017 Anderson was loaned to Coritiba and then returned to Europe with Turkish club Adana Demirspor in 2018. Anderson quit football in September of 2020 following one year. Anderson made his Brazil debut in the Copa America 2007, which they took home. Anderson also was a player for Brazil Olympic football at the 2008 Summer Olympics in which Anderson helped to get the bronze medal.
