Beverly D'Angelo

 D'Angelo was a Columbus, Ohio native, and was the daughter of Priscilla Smith (nee Smith) who was a violinist, as well as Eugene Constantino "Gene” D'Angelo (bass player, television station manager for WBNS-TV Columbus). [2The father of her was Italian. Her maternal grandparents, Eugenio and Rosina D'Angelo came of the region of Introdacqua in the Abruzzo region Italy. She has three brothers, Jeff, Tim and Tony. [5] Howard Dwight Smith was their maternal grandfather and an architect. He was the architect of Ohio Stadium, also known as "The Horseshoe" at Ohio State University. D'Angelo was raised in Upper Arlington High School, Ohio. This is a suburb located in northwest Columbus. In 2009, she was awarded the Upper Arlington Alumni Association (UAAA) the Distinguished Alumnus Award in recognition of her achievements in her career. [citation neede D'Angelo worked as an illustrator for Hanna-Barbera Studios and as a singer before taking an passion for acting. When she was living in Canada she sang as an American-born backup singer in rockabilly performer Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins' group The Hawks. After going out on their own , they formed The Band, a group that has been deemed to be legendary. [8][9]
