Brooke Christa Shields, born May 31, 1965 is an American actress. When she was 12 she was an infant model. She received critical acclaim for her performance in the film of Louis Malle's Pretty Baby (1978). She continued modeling until her teens, and was an actor in a variety of dramas in the 1980s. Shields played minor roles in films in the 1990s. She also appeared in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan (1996-192000), for which she received two Golden Globe nominations were received as well as Lipstick Jungle (2008)-2009. 2. Shields returned to NBC in 2017 and had an ongoing role as a Law & Order: Special Victims Unit character in the 19th season of the show. Shields is the voice of Beverly Goodman on the Adult Swim animated show Mr. Pickles since 2014.
