James Anderson (cricketer)

James Michael Anderson OBE, born on July 30, 1982 James Michael Anderson OBE, born 30 July 1982, is an English international cricketer. He is a member of the Lancashire County Cricket Club as well as England. Anderson is also a part-time cricket commentator for the BBC. Anderson is the most efficient wicket-taker in Test cricket. Anderson is the only fast bowler who has taken at least 600 wickets in Test cricket or more. In all, Anderson is the third most prolific wicket-taker of all kinds. [1] Anderson is also the holder of the record for having the highest number of wickets of an England player in One-Day International cricket (ODI). He played his 174th Test appearance for England and was the highest played player in the history of England. In addition, he played in more than 200 One-Day Internationals. [33 Anderson is widely considered to be one of the best swing bowlers ever. His international debut was made in 2002 during the England winter tour to Australia. In the summer following the following year, he took part in his first Test game against Zimbabwe. Anderson was injured during his first few years of professional career and suffered an injury to his back, which prevented him from playing throughout the course of the year. But he soon became the top opening bowler for England's Test squad. While the striker was an established player for the national one-day team, he hasn't been a part of the shorter format in international cricket since the year 2015.
