Lynda Carter

The superhero-like character was invented in 1941 by William Moulton Marston, an American psychologist and writer, as well as Harry G. Peter, an artist at DC Comics. Marston invented his character to act to counter-programme the Man of Steel. The Wonder Diana Prince/Woman character is also called The Amazing Amazon, Themyscira’s Champion and The Spirit of Truth Themyscira's Champion, and the Goddess of Love as well as War. Wonder Woman was a massive popular with fans and was the most well-known DC comic book character. In 1975, Carter landed the role of Wonder Woman as the main character as well as an undercover character Diana Prince. She was close to exhausting the money she'd saved from her touring group[16] to audition for acting roles in Los Angeles. Carter declared publicly that she had $25 in her savings account the day she was given the part. Her manager informed her that Joanna Cassidy had been fired and she was now Wonder Woman. Carter was now the Wonder Woman. Her sincere performance earned her the respect of the public and her fans. In the end, Wonder Woman is still closely connected to her.
