Jessica Chastain

 Jessica Michelle Chastain, born on March 24, 1977, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her performances in films with female themes. She has been awarded many awards including an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine named her one the top 100 influential people globally in 2012. Chastain began acting at the age of just. She made her stage debut in the role of Shakespeare's Juliet in 1998. She was a student at the Juilliard School and was then signed to a talent-holding contract with John Wells, a television producer. Law & Order: Trial by Jury was one of her regular guest appearances on television. Chastain was also seen in stage productions of Anton Chekhov's production of The Cherry Orchard (2004) and Oscar Wilde's tragic Salome (2006). Her debut on film with Jolene (2008) at age 31 and was featured in six films in the year 2011. In her roles as an aspirant socialite and CIA analyst, she earned Academy Award nominations. Her biggest commercial success was in science fiction films Interstellar (2014), The Martian (2015) and It Chapter Two (2019). The roles she played in the dramas A Most Violent Year (2014), Miss Sloane (2016) and Molly's Game (2017) continued to receive acclaim from critics. She was also a part of the miniseries on television Scenes from a Marriage (1921). Chastain received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as Tammy Faye (biopic The Eyes of Tammy Faye 2021) and also co-produced.
