Meek Mill

 Robert Rihmeek Williams (born May 6, 1987),[2] known professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper from America. Born and raised in Philadelphia Meek Mill began his career as a battle rapper and later formed a short-lived group called The Bloodhoundz. Atlanta rapper T.I. signed Meek Mill to his first record deal in the year 2008. T.I. signed Meek Mill to his debut record deal in 2008. In February 2011, after having left Grand Hustle Records, Mill was signed by Miami-based rapper Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group (MMG). Mill's debut album, Dreams and Nightmares was released by Warner Bros. Records and MMG in 2012. It was preceded by "Amen" featuring Drake, which peaked at number 2 in the U.S. charts. Billboard 200. In October 2012 Mill announced the creation of his own label imprint, Dream Chasers Records. The label's name was inspired by the mixtape series he has released. Meek Mill often collaborates with MMG label-mates; he has appeared on MMG's Self Made compilation series, with his first two singles, "Tupac Back" (featuring Rick Ross) and "Ima Boss" (featuring Rick Ross) and "Ima Boss" being featured on volume one. In the year 2015, he released Dreams Worth More Than money which was his second album. He also released Wins & Losses in 2016. In November 2018 the fourth album of his studio, Championships was released. It debuted at the top on the Billboard 200 charts. The album's first single, "Going Bad" (featuring Drake) was a top-charting single, reaching sixth place on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Mill's most chart-topping single to date. The fifth album by Meek Mill Expensive Pain was released in October 2021. In November 2017 he was sentenced for violating parole and sent to prison for a period of two up to four years. He was then released to go through his trial after having completed five months. Amazon Prime Video released a documentary series called Free Meek, that chronicled his struggle with the justice system for criminals in August 2019. Mill was the an executive producer of the series together with his fellow rapper Jay-Z. Mill and Jay-Z are also co-founders of the non-profit Reform Alliance, which focuses specifically on probation, parole justice, parole, and reform.
