Nicki Minaj

 Onika Tanya Maraj -Petty (nee Maraj) was born on December 8 in 1982. She is a Trinidadian rapper, singer and songwriter, who is based in the United States. Her musical versatility, animated flow and use of alter-egos as well as accents and rapping are what make her stand out. Minaj first gained recognition after releasing three mixtapes between 2007 between 2007 and 2009. Pink Friday (2010) was her debut album and topped the Billboard 200 charts. The album's fifth track, "Super Bass", reached the number three spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. In 2021 the RIAA certified it as a diamond. The second album of Minaj, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (2012) focused on dance-pop as well as her vocals and was ranked number one across the world. The album's lead track, "Starships", reached the top five of 15 countries. The third album, The Pinkprint (2014) was a deeper look at topics and was a return to hip-hop roots. The first single, "Anaconda", was a hit. It also became the first female solo rapper to have a video reach 1 billion views on YouTube in 2021. She released her fourth album, Queen, in 2018 and it spawned the top-ten single "Chun-Li". The collaboration she did with KarolG "Tusa" was the longest-running number-one single on the Argentina Hot 100 charts. Through her remix of "Say so" by Doja Cat and her collaboration with 6ix9ine "Trollz", Minaj made her debut Hot 100 number-one singles in 2020. With the release of her mixtape from 2009 Beam Me Up Scotty in 2021, she achieved the highest chart position for female rappers on the Billboard 200 chart, at number two. The title track of her forthcoming fifth studio album, "Super Freaky Girl" was the first solo track by a female rapper to debut at the top of the Hot 100.
