Rihanna

 Robyn Rihanna, born on February 20th, 1988 is a Barbadian singer, actress, and businesswoman. Rihanna was born in Saint Michael, Barbados and was raised in Barbados. She was a candidate for Evan Rogers, an American record producer, who offered Rihanna to the United States to record demo tapes. Rihanna was signed to Def Jam in 2005 and quickly became famous through the release of her debut two studio albums, Music of the Sun (2005), as well as A Girl Like Me (2006). Both albums were influenced by Caribbean music and climbed to the top ten of the US Billboard 200 charts. Rihanna's debut Grammy Award was won for her chart-topping hit song "Umbrella" that catapulted Rihanna into international fame. In her subsequent studio albums Rated R (2009) and Loud (2010) and Talk That Talk (2011) and Unapologetic (2012) she continued to blend R&B as well as dance and pop genres. The album also included the top charting single "Work". In the US she was an undisputed number one and has reached the top of the charts, with her 31 singles. She also made it to the top ten of the UK with 30 entries in the top ten. She has been awarded nine Grammy Awards, thirteen American Music Awards (including an Icon Award), twelve Billboard Music Awards and six Guinness World Records. Time listed her among the top 100 most influential individuals in the world in 2012 and 2018. Forbes named her among the top ten most-paid stars in 2012 and 2014. Forbes named her as one of the top ten highest-paid stars in 2012 and in 2014. She was the founder of the Clara Lionel Foundation, Fenty Beauty cosmetics company as well as the Fenty fashion house, which is owned by LVMH. She also is the first woman of color to be in the charge of a high-end brand owned by LVMH. Rihanna is also a professional as an actor. She was in the roles of Battleship (2012) as well as Home (2015). In the year 2018, she was appointed an ambassador for tourism, education and investments by Barbados.
