Courtney Thorne-Smith

 She appeared on a variety of TV shows during the late 1980s, including Growing Pains, Fast Times and Infidelity. She was also a part of made-for-television films such as The Thanksgiving Promise, Infidelity, as well as Day by Day in which she co-starred alongside Linda Kelsey, Douglas Sheehan and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. From 1992 until 1997, her first TV role on the big screen was in the role of Alison Parker in Melrose Place. In 1995, she appeared as the main character in Beauty's Revenge, a movie created to be broadcast on TV. The film was released on DVD and CD in the form of "Midwest Obsession." From 1997 until 2000, she portrayed Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. Thorne Smith was initially auditioning for the role of Georgia Thomas in the show. The role was later assigned to Calista Lockhart. The role was subsequently taken by Ally McBeal in season 4 in 2000. But she has returned to the show to make guest appearances. In the following months, she said that she had quit the show due to the pressure to shed weight. US Weekly reported that she began to eat too much and exercise excessively and had weakened her immune system. "The amount of time I consumed by food and being angry over my body was insane. She was a part of the show in the Jim's According to Jim's Cheryl part from 2001 until 2009. The pregnancy she had in 2007 was initially a secret however, it was later added to the plot of the show. She was signed on to play Alan Harper's love interest Lyndsey McElroy on season seven of, Two and a Half Men on February 18 in 2010. She was in 52 episodes from season seven to twelve.
