Courtney Thorne-Smith

 She appeared on a handful of television shows in the mid-1980s, including Growing Pains and the short-lived Fast Times, as well as made-for-television films like The Thanksgiving Promise and Infidelity before landing a regular part in the sitcom that lasted only a few episodes Day by Day featuring Douglas Sheehan, Linda Kelsey and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. In the year 1990, she included in six episodes of L.A. Law as Laker Girl Kimberly Dugan.Her first notable starring television appearance was as Alison Parker on Melrose Place from 1992 to 1997. During this time, in 1995, she appeared in a television movie that was made to be made Beauty's Revenge which was also marketed in CD and DVD version as "Midwest Obsession". From 1997 to 2000, she played Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. Thorne-Smith originally auditioned for the title role on the show, which ultimately ended up being played by Calista Flockhart. Her replacement was Ally McBeal in season 4 of 2000.
