Hari Nef (born October 21 in 1992) is an American actress, model and writer. 3 Nef was the first actress to play Gittel in the Amazon original show Transparent. She was nominated in 2016 for an SAG Award. [4] She had her runway debut at New York Fashion Week Spring 2015, walking for Hood By Air and Eckhaus Latta She then became the first transgender openly woman signed to IMG Models. The cover she wore on the cover of a British magazine was her first as an openly transgender woman. Nef has written about many different topics, from fine art and film to gender, sexuality, and transgender identity. [7] She resides and is a writer in New York City.
