 The Island Boys are involved in many social media battles with other social media stars such as twins Logan Paul and Jake Paul, TikTok star Bryce Hall and even mainstream celebrities such as comedian Kevin Hart and rapper Snoop Dogg Hart ridiculed the twins in their comedy show "2021 & Done." On the 75-minute special, Hart and Snoop Dogg reviewed a collection of the most popular videos of the past year, including the Island Boys' viral debut. While watching the TikTok clip, Snoop Dogg held his head in his hands, saying "I'm speechless. Two goofballs swimming in an ocean. The video shows the brothers shouting "Big shoutout Staff Sergeant Tamez, you're making lives...Giving bonus money?" Paid vacation? And free college, no cost. "[2 The video was republished on Reddit under the subreddit r/Army. Two days after the video was a source of controversy, a representative from the US Army Recruiting Command stated to NBC that the "Island Boys Cameo" was not approved, paid for, or examined by the US Army Recruiting Command. Police raided the Florida residence of the Venegas brothers on February 7, 2022. A man named Andrew James Thomas, a childhood friend of the Venegas brothers, was detained on the property as a result of the shooting in a drive-by that killed an 8-year old girl just three days earlier. Two of the Venegas Brothers are not involved in this particular case. Dovi Bezner, their manager, revealed to the media that Andrew James Thomas was a childhood friend of the Venegas brothers and that he was staying at their house. He claimed that he'd not heard of any of the charges against him. We only knew him as someone who was good , and who was raised with Island Boys. We wouldn't have allowed Thomas into the premises if we had known of the possibility of such an incident. Thomas is currently being investigated for first-degree murder with weapons, felons in possession, and attempted first-degree shooting with a weapon.
