Lea T

 Piero Piazzi was the first to be aware of Lea T. He signed her when she was 17 years old, before she made her transition. Givenchy Senior designer Riccardo Tisci then discovered her, and asked her to assist him and then making her the model for Givenchy in late 2010. Her first runway show was for Alexandre Herchcovitch during Sao Paulo Fashion Week in January 2011. T was featured in ads for Givenchy and Philipp Plein. She has also been featured in editorials for Vogue Paris and Numero as in Interview as well as Love. In 2011, she was also the cover star of two issues of the Spring/Summer 2011 edition of Love the magazine, one as a single model, as well as one with her with Kate Moss. T has been featured on the covers of Elle, Marie Claire and Glamour as well as in the International editions of Marie Claire, Grazia, Grazia, and Glamour. In 2013, T participated in the Italian version of Rai Uno called Ballando con le Stelle. Forbes magazine listed her as one of the 12 women who have revolutionized Italian fashion. In 2014, she became the face of the American hair-care brand Redken which made her the first transgender person to be the face of a major cosmetics brand.Lea T was the first transgender woman to ever take part in the opening ceremonies of an Olympics when she led the Brazilian team to the stadium on her bicycle during the Rio Olympics in 2016. Rio Olympics. She led an all-female team of 465 that competed in 29 sports. She was also the modern pentathlete Yane Marques carrying the Auriverde flag into the stadium.
