Morgan was born on the 31st of March, 1956, in Lexington, Kentucky, the youngest of five children to Ramon Morgan and Patricia Morgan. When Morgan was fourteen years old, the family moved to Winter Park, Florida. [3] Morgan began working in various jobs from an early age as his family struggled financially. He entered the University of Florida in 1974 and earned a bachelor's in the arts in 1978. In order to pay for his University of Florida Levin College of Law studies He had a break of 18 months from selling ads. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 1982. While studying the law, Morgan was elected president of Florida Blue Key society. They were married in May of 1982. Morgan and Ultima Ann Degnan have been the parents of four children.
