Connery was in a variety of parts in the theatre, and later he appeared in a number of B-films. Connery's first film role was The Lords of Discipline (1983). He later played James Bond creator Ian Fleming in the television show Spymaker. He played Merlin: The Quest Begins the title character in the 1997 film "Fantasy. The film was initially planned to be a pilot episode to an ongoing series. He also appeared in Faithful Dealing (2001), an English-language Whodunit set in London created by Dominic Madden. In 2003, he toured with The Blue Room, a stage production. He was the principal character of Shoebox Zoo's kids' show. In 2004, he was back on the show for the second season.
