Jennifer Anne Garner was born on April 17 in 1972. Garner is an American actress. Her role as CIA Officer Sydney Bristow on the ABC television show Alias (2001 through 2006) as well as her romantic comedy 13 Going on 30 (2004) are both well-known. She has been awarded numerous awards including an Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award with nominations for four Primetime Emmy Awards.Jennifer was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Garner attended theater classes at Denison University and began acting as an understudy for the Roundabout Theatre Company in New York City. She made her screen debut in the TV adaptation of Danielle Steel's romance novel Zoya in 1995. The roles she played on television included guest and supporting roles as also a character on Time of Your Life (1999-2000) and Pearl Harbor (2001). Garner is most famous for her character of Sydney Bristow, CIA officer on ABC's spy action thriller television series Alias (2001 to 2006). She was nominated for four consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Leading Actress in the Drama Series and also the Golden Globe for Best Actress Television Series Drama. The performance she gave in 13 Going on 30 (2004) was well-received, and she was later cast to portray Elektra in the superhero films Daredevil 2003 and Elektra 2005. Her commercial success by starring in the comedy-drama Juno (2007) as well as the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and Valentine's Day (2010).
