Tyrone Curtis "Muggsy", Bogues was born on the 9th of January 1995. The most diminutive player ever to participate in the National Basketball Association (NBA) the 5'3 in (1.60 m) Bogues played point guard for four teams during his 14-season career in the NBA. The most well-known of them is his ten seasons playing for the Charlotte Hornets. However, Bogues also played with the Washington Bullets and Golden State Warriors. In six straight seasons (1989-1995), Bogues was ranked in the top seven in assists, and was in the top 10 for steals. He scored 146 lifetime NBA double-doubles. [1] He was the head coach of Charlotte Sting, a WNBA team that he was a coach for following his NBA career.
