Nathan Dean Parsons, born 16 June 1988 in Australia was an American actor. He is best known for his work on daytime television on ABC's daytime soap opera General Hospital where he plays the character as Ethan Lovett. The actor also played roles on primetime television shows as vampire James Kent on the seventh and final season of the HBO drama series True Blood, and the role of the exiled werewolf Jackson Kenner on The CW drama series The Originals. He's appeared in the show Once Upon a Time, as Hansel/Jack/Nick Branson and currently, as Max Evans in The CW's Roswell, New Mexico. His early life and educationNathan was born in Adelaide in South Australia and raised in Austin, Texas and Boulder, Colorado. The actor moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California after being admitted into their Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting program, but left after just three years. In addition, he is an active member of Boom Kat Dance Theatre, an organization that is non-profit and based in Santa Monica, California. Following the success of NeverWonderland, Boom Kat is currently a resident company at the Miles Memorial Playhouse Santa Monica. In his spare time, Parsons enjoys dance, rock climbing and hiking, playing soccer, lacrosse, football, yoga, and scuba dives.
