A fan of professional wrestling since her early years, Kay first became involved in the wrestling business in the summer of 2008 when she started training alongside Mathew Priest and Bill Martel at the Blue Collar Wrestling Alliance (BCWA) in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Six months later she made her debut in the ring against Shavonne Norrrell on the 28th of December. [2][66 Kay took on Norrell for six months and ended in an ongoing feud that lasted for throughout 2009. Kay later began competing against male wrestlers. Kay was invited to the tournament to decide on the new champion. She made it to the semi-finals in which she fell to eventual winner Scotty Primo. Kay tried to win the championship many times until the closure of BCWA in mid-2011.
