Becky G

 Rebbeca Marie Gomez, born on March 2nd, 1997, popularly referred to as Becky G is an American actor and singer. Her first recognition came in 2011 after she began uploading videos of her singing popular songs online. One of her clips attracted the eye of the producer Dr. Luke, who later provided her with a joint recording deal with Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. When she was working on her debut album, Gomez collaborated with artists will.i.am, Cody Simpson and Cher Lloyd. Her first single, "Becky from the Block", was received positively upon its release. Her debut extended performance, Play It Again (2013) the following year. Her second single, "Can’t Get Enough" was released in the year 2014. Pitbull performed guest vocals. "Shower," which was her fourth single became a hit in the mainstream. It was ranked in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) gave the single a multi-platinum certificate which meant that the country had sold over two million copies. After the success of "Shower", Gomez released "Can't Stop Dancin'" (2014), "Lovin' So Hard" and "Break a Sweat" (2015) as singles from her forthcoming album. Gomez embarked on a coheadlining tour with J Balvin throughout September and October of 2015, which spanned across the United States. She portrayed Valentina Galindo in two episodes of the musical television series Empire and contributed two brand new tracks to the soundtrack named "Do It" and "New New". Pitbull featured Gomez on the song "Superstar" 2016. In June of 2016, she dropped "Sola", her first track in Spanish.
