Jeanine Ferris Pirro (born June 2, 1951)[3] is an American television host as well as an author and former New York State judge, prosecutor and politician. [4][5Five Pirro was host of Fox News Channel's Justice with Judge Jeanine until 2022 when she was a co-host on The Five. She was frequently a contributor to NBC News, including regular appearances on The Today Show. She was the first woman to be elected as judge in Westchester County, New York. Pirro was elected as the first female district attorney of Westchester County. Pirro was elected the first female district attorney in Westchester County. Her name was well-known for her work on cases of domestic abuse and crimes against seniors. Pirro briefly ran for the Republican nomination to the United States Senate in 2006. She was contesting against Hillary Clinton. However, she chose to accept the nomination as New York Attorney General. She was defeated in the general election by Andrew Cuomo. She wrote Liars, Leakers, and Liberals, The Case against Anti-Trump Conspiracy in 2018. Pirro was named as a defendant in a February 2021 defamation lawsuit by Smartmatic in connection with false claims of fraud in the election in 2020's United States presidential election, even though her claims were dismissed by a judge in March 2022.
